1 - Fixes and Changes in 6.0.4

LogiQ 6.0.4 is a new version of Logiq. The current version must be uninstalled before this one is installed. 

To describe the features and fixes included in this Service Pack the following notation is used.

1. Access Control
Display Usage information when logging a decrement pass entry.

2. TPOS
Results from customer search were not listed alphabetically if the database was SQL2012. This has been fixed.

3. Reports
New Report to List Stock Adjustments.

4. TPOS
Customer facing mini screens not displaying correct quantity if more of 1 of an item was sold.

5. System Navigator
Allow entry of Size on Stock Detail screen.

6. Report Center
Stock Report now sorts by Size within Description.

7. Direct Debits
Interface with QuickPay.

8. Report Center
New Stock List Report.

9. Report Center
Removing locking from Transaction Analysis to enhance performance.

10. Customer
Optionally get information from IGT Database.

11. TPOS
Optionally Charge Surcharge for Credit Cards.

12. System Navigator
Now stores CC Surcharge GL code.

2 - Installation

  1. Please contact support@qvisual.com.au to obtain upgrade files and assistance for carrying out upgrades.

  2. During an upgrade the following steps might be taken (with the assistance of Qvisual Support Staff):


  • Perform a full back up of the live database.

  • Create a new TEST database

  • Test the upgrade on the TEST database

  • Upgrade the LIVE database

  • Upgrade the client workstations

3 - Uninstalling

  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Click Add or Remove Programs.

  3.  Scroll down to "LogiQ 5.9", or some other old version, click on it, and then click Change/Remove.
